Steam steriliser for media, glassware and waste at validated temperature and pressure.
Sterilises loads with saturated steam under pressure, holding a validated temperature and hold time — commonly 121 °C for 15 minutes or 134 °C for 3 minutes. Wrapped goods, liquids and contaminated waste each need their own air-removal and cooling profile, so cycle selection is part of the method rather than an operator preference.
