Karl Fischer Titrator
Determines water content by volumetric or coulometric Karl Fischer titration.
Determines water specifically, through a reaction in which iodine is consumed in proportion to the water present. Volumetric titration suits samples in the percent range; coulometric generates the iodine electrically and reaches parts per million, which is where most APIs and solvents have to be measured.
