Tablet Hardness Tester
Records the crushing strength of a tablet.
Applies increasing force across the diameter of a tablet until it fractures, and records the breaking force. Read alongside friability and disintegration, it is how a compression setting is dialled in: too soft and the tablet crumbles, too hard and it will not disintegrate.
