Tap Density Tester
Determines tapped and bulk density for powder flow characterisation.
Taps a measured mass of powder in a graduated cylinder a set number of times and records the volume before and after. Bulk and tapped density together give the Carr index and Hausner ratio — how powder flow is characterised before it becomes a compression or capsule-filling problem.
